Expectations of romance and a relationship can be either reasonable or unreasonable. Many relationships split up when expectations fail.

In my experience as Director of a professional dating agency for 20 years, I have found that men are rarely white knights on horses that do everything we want them to, and ladies are not princesses waiting to be rescued.

Not only do we have expectations of how people should behave but in my experience it can be unrealistic to expect ladies and gents of middle age to still have the figures they had in their 20’s.
