Christmas – A Special Time for Special Relationships

This time of year often highlights any relationships that are under strain. As families gather together for the festivities, old animosities and resentments can bubble to the surface.

The mature approach would be to just to let them go – but not always possible I know. Christmas is supposed to be a symbol of peace on earth and happiness  - not a family war!

If at all possible try to keep your cool and remember that Christmas is about joy and giving and loving, particularly if there are children involved.

If you use your energy to focus on resentment, hate, envy and anger then you are using energy that would be much better used in a more positive manner. If you act happy, you are more likely to feel happy. Think about using that positive energy in changing your situation for the better in 2010. That could mean a job/career change, handling your finances better, paying more attention to your loved ones and even to yourself. How many of us put ourselves at the bottom of the list? This could be the year you actually treat yourself to a present – a new beginning and a new start.

Try writing your own “Dear Santa” letter with your wishes for 2010.
If this involves finding a new relationship then perhaps it may be worth putting Introductions UK phone number at the top of your Christmas wish list.
