Top Tips For Choosing an Introduction Agency

by IntrosUK on 05th November, 2009

Introduction Agencies have changed the way people meet new people.

There are many types of Introductions Agencies to choose from. These vary from cheaper on-line dating agencies to more upmarket and professional Introduction Agencies.

Before Joining

Any Introduction Agency you are considering joining should be able to offer you the following:-

1.    Check the Introduction Agency out. How long have they been established and how many members do they have?
2.    Ask the Introduction Agency to give you a good idea of how many introductions they may be able to offer you if you decide to join.
3.    Ask the Introduction Agency if they are protected by the Data Protection laws and that all of your personal information will be kept confidential.
4.    Make sure that the Introduction Agency does not pass on any of your details to other marketing companies.
5.    Make sure that every member has their identification verified by the Introduction Agency.
6.    Ask the Introduction Agency if they provide photographs of all their members on their profiles. It really is nice to see a photograph of the person you will be asked to speak to on the phone.
7.    Make sure that the Introduction Agency has a help desk facility so that you can contact the office if you have any queries or need any assistance during your membership.
8.    Make sure that the Introduction Agency interview all clients either by telephone or face to face.

After Joining

1.    Meet your introduction in a public place. All Introduction Agencies will advise you that meeting in a public place will offer you extra safety.
2.    Although the Introduction Agency may know you are meeting one of their member’s it may be a good idea to tell a friend too.
3.    Make the first meeting, a short meeting. Perhaps a coffee at lunch time. This means you can extend the time if you are enjoying the company or cut the time short if you are not.
4.    Do not give out your address or surname until you feel ready to do so. The Introduction Agency will only have given out your first name and phone number. Do not feel under any obligation to give more personal details of yourself until you want to.
5.    Finally trust your instincts. If the situation does not feel right then cut the meeting short. You will have the backup of the Introduction Agency and all of their staff. Any doubts or worries give them a call, that’s what they do and they will have the experience and expertise to assist you.
