CHOOSING THE RIGHT PHOTOGRAPH – FOR YOUR PROFILE

by IntrosUK on 31st October, 2009

First impressions really do count!

In our experience, here at Introductions UK, it is worth taking a little extra time to choose the right photograph. After all, you have just paid your membership fee to join us, so please do consider carefully which photograph you would like to include on your profile. Photographs are there to enhance your individual profile.

We ask all our members not to be too judgmental over a photograph, however, we are all human and we do tend to make instant decisions as to whether we will like someone or not purely from how they look on paper.

Passport photographs are acceptable but they do not always do you the best justice. If you have a photograph (up to 2 years old maximum) that you like yourself in, that would be an excellent choice. A holiday snap where you look happy and tanned, or dressed up to go to a function are ideal.

Do not worry if there are other people in your photograph. All you need to do is to let your Matching Consultant know in advance which person you are. We will then extract your picture from the photograph and put that portion only onto your profile. Due to data protection we would never show the face of any other person on your photograph, so if there is a family member, or ex partner on the photograph you can be confident that only your picture will be featured on your two to three page profile.

There are various ways in which you can send your photograph to us. Firstly, by e-mail or secondly by post. If you would like to send a selection to your Matching Consultant she will happily choose one or two which, in our experience, show you to the best advantage. Please be assured that your photograph will never appear on the internet, we are a truly traditional agency and your photograph will only be shown to your individual introduction and you in turn will view their photograph on their profile. All matching has to be mutually compatible.

If you do decide to send a photograph by mail, and you would like it returned to you, just let us know and your Matching Consultant will make sure that this is sent back to you. Photographs are acceptable in both colour and black and white.

Do not worry too much about the photograph, you are not on your own, most of us hate having our picture taken but it is nice to have a picture of the person you are going to speak to on the phone. It makes the whole process more friendly.

Any questions regarding photographs, the team would be happy to help and advise you. Just give us a call on Lo Call 0845 9002952 or 0800  0962457.

Kind Regards and Best of Luck
